Excellent vintage condition case with thick and even lugs that has been professionally polished in the past. Serial and reference numbers are clear and fully intact. Caseback is engraved "S&L Acero"
Dial has patinated to a beautiful cream hue with no damage or chips. Indices and hands are yellow gold with blued seconds hand. Original signed "Serpico Y Laino". Crystal is believed to be original to the watch
Bracelet is a Rolex rivet folded link with "Brevet" Logo and 57 end links. Bracelet has 13 links and has stretch consistent to age.
All functions are working flawlessly and is keeping time within vintage standards.
Started by Vicente Laino and Leopoldo Serpico in the 30s, Serpico Y Laino was a famous jewelry store in Caracas, Venezuela that had the sole rights to sell Rolex and Patek Philippe. Like Tiffany & Co, they stamped their watches with their logo as well as engraved their casebacks.
